It’s been a long journey these past few months. When it began, it felt like it was going to be forever. Now that it’s about to end, it feels like it went by so fast. But throughout the whole time of being a single parent, I couldn’t help get this song out of my head. This song has been a good reminder of what God has in store for us. Even in the midst of being in the valley, he’s there. And in the midst of being on the hill, we can’t forget who brought and carried us there.
For me, I’ve been needing to get up, every morning, at 5:40 am to get ready and start the day. My morning consists of
1) making breakfast for 4 to go
2) packing a lunch for Aiden &
3) getting 3 kids out the door by 6:30 am to drive 25 miles north – in traffic, to get Aiden to school in Pacific Beach.
Almost every morning, this song comes into play on K-Love – Tauren Well’s “Hils and Valleys”. This song has definitely pushed me through this valley of mine. And, in every way, it speaks to every point in our lives – both the hills and valleys.
