Nothing screams more “I’M READY”, then when you create a wedding details box for your photographer!
When you give your photographer your wedding details box, your photographer will thank you PROFUSELY!
The reason I wanted to share this with you is how important these details are – especially as you’ve been planning them for months to years before. This wedding details box sets the mood for the rest of the day! AND, it’s a great way to get important details out of the way and documented – before the busyness of the day come!
Creating a day-before wedding details box is SUPER easy and simple! The only thing you don’t want to do is miss a thing! So what do you need?
Flatlay details: THE ESSENTIALS for the wedding details box!
A flatlay is an art-form and medium photographers use to include a large amount of your major details in one place! What does it usually include?
1) Invitation – invitation + addressed envelope; rsvp + envelope & whatever other cards you have as part of your suite!
2) RINGS (both Groom and Bride) – Engagement + Wedding bands
4) Fresh Flowers – please ask your florist if they can leave some loose flowers for flatlays. The flowers – from your bouquet – is one of the best ways to create a flowing theme from start to finish.
Other wedding details to consider
Other wedding details to include are:
Bride:
1) Wedding Shoes
2) Your favorite perfume & cologne bottle
3) Earrings, Necklace & Bracelets
4) Special Heirlooms
Groom:
1) Cologne Bottle
2) Shoes
3) Flask?
4) Watch
5) Cufflinks
6) Handkerchiefs
7) Belts
8) Special heirlooms
Last but not least… THE WEDDING BOUQUETS AND BOUTONNIERES
Make sure the wedding bouquets and boutonnieres are ready in the morning before the bride and groom is ready to dress. This gives you time to take photos with them, by themselves and give them the attention they need before they start losing their freshness!

Clothing details
There are multiple ways to take photos of your wedding dress and suit – clothing details in general. I prefer them on you – because not all wedding dresses look beautiful while hung up!! BUT, If you decide to hang your wedding dress, please have a nice wooden hanger (or a custom one) available!
Don’t forget details such as:
1) Ties or Bowties
2) Garter
3) Cufflinks
4) Handkerchiefs
