5 Things to Know About Me…
There are 5 things to know about me as a photographer! The reason I want to talk about this is to give you a point of reference of what to expect from me as your photographer!
Let’s face it, the industry is inundated with photographers! It’s hard to know who to trust and who to not! Here, I want to share with you my heart and what makes me tick and also why I don’t believe I’m meant to serve everyone.
After all, life is short? Isn’t it? Growing up was fun, but once you are a wife, a mom of kids, time just slips away. I don’t have time to waste on just anyone! So, when I get an inquiry, I start a conversation! I look to see if this person truly knows my value and can benefit from my guidance, my skills and my art.
But, beyond all those things, trust is the most important part of being a photographer. Will the clients trust me whole-heartedly? And why is this important, because I serve my clients whole heartedly! I put a lot of time and effort growing relationship! I have soo much to give!
So, the client for me is someone I can be friends with, be transparent with AND even grow old with!
I want clients that know that I will always be there for them – in every stage of their life! And in those stages of life – birthing, growing a family, vow renewals, anniversaries and etc – I want to be there, in other ways but also to give my clients tangible memories in a truly lasting & heirloom form!
And when you talk about heirloom, that’s where photography steps in! I mean, let’s face it, and let me be open an honest with you but, MY MEMORY SUCKS!! And once you have kids.. it only gets worst! So, PLEASE, don’t lose these beautiful moments in life to chance!
I want to be there for you, every step of the way!

I always strive to tell your story!
It’s a story of who you are, together, in this moment in time.
Undeniably, my first and my absolute main goal as your photographer is to tell your story! Probably the top two most important of the 5 things I want you to know about me as a photographer is that I want you to bring your personality, smiles and interactions to the session and make it your own!
Your story is important to me
and that is why I always send out a questionnaire to my clients! I want to get to know them and to be able to tell the story of who they are – at that time moment in time and place. I want to know their fears and worries and I always do my best to address them during the session! I want to know your story so I can somehow incorporate it into the session!

I strive to make all my sessions EASY!!!
… by giving you all that you need to plan for your session
The second of the 5 things is I aim to make all my session easy! Before each session, I always send my clients a portrait guide + Pinterest boards for inspiration!! It also tells you what to expect and what to pack for your session!
Why do I do this, to make life easier for you! Why go through the stress of a session – having to plan from the beginning! My portrait, engagement session & bridal guide has all the information you’ll need to jumpstart your planning. π I want to make your life easier, not more complex!
By sharing my knowledge – which I have a tun of – it eases stress and hopefully makes it easier for you – allowing you to look forward and enjoy the session!

I strive to make all my sessions FUN!!!
Bring me all the smiles and laughter that you can muster within the 1-2 hr portrait session!
I have no expectations that my clients will know how to pose or look good in front of the camera! The only thing I can ask of you is to have fun and to smile more – always be ready to add laughter here and there!
The more fun you are willing to have, the better the photos will be! π Remember to be you and that’s all I need. Leave the rest to me! As a lifestyle photographer, I do a mixture of posed and unposed! If you move naturally, go for it!
Kiss when you want! Laugh when you want! Tickle when you want! Run when you want! π And when I need something from you, I’ll direct you! π And, in truth, most of the time when couples break out of the pose, that’s when the best photos come out!
Like your outfit choices, I also do my best to give you what you need to have the basics down of posing! I normally send my clients my blog post on posing! And you know what, I’ve had a few brides tell me how helpful they were and how when I put them into a pose, they knew exactly what I was saying or instructing them to do! π Isn’t that awesome when all your hard-work feels like it’s paid off?
So yes..
I don’t expect you to be able to pose!
But I don’t leave you stranded without a basic understanding on how to flatter you own body! And you know what, after reading my 5 day posing guide, a light might come on and you might find yourself going “AH HA!”.. that’s why I do this and that for selfies! π
You will become a master! And… you might find yourself telling your significant other to “hold me close” and smile for the camera – positioning your feet, oh so naturally, 45 degrees and twist at the waist with hands on your hips!
And why not.. it’s the most flattering pose for girls :)!!

I strive to make YOU FEEL BEAUTIFUL!!
You don’t have your make & hair done and get dressed up everyday!
I want to EMPOWER YOU and make you feel THE MOST BEAUTIFUL that you’ve ever been. If a photographer has not made you feel pretty, they’ve failed their job miserably – not a joke!
You’ve put in all this work to look your best – and it’ll probably be one of the only days you will until your wedding day! I don’t want to waste that effort. I want to make you not only look but feel beautiful! And that’s with a lot of praise an affirmation!
But guys, don’t think you’re getting away from this. GUYS, you gotta step up your game! And this is definitely the season for it!
Last but not least..

I strive to create trust and friendship
I want to see you again next year and keep me updated on your life! I’m here for you anytime you need me!
So last but not but absolutely not least of the 5 things to know about me as a photographer is…. probably the most important of the 5!
The one thing I love the most is seeing my clients again – year after year! I especially love the clients I have that I’ve gotten to see more than on a yearly basis and have been able to celebrate with them at every event and celebrations in their life!
We’ll be spending a lot of time together!
Next to all the phone calls, video chats, texts, the engagement session and then the wedding. I hope by the end of the journey and the time we’ll be spending together, you’d be able to call me a friend! And if we are the right match in personality, I would love to be able to say that I’ve made a brand new best friend! You know I’ll be there for you anytime you need!
That’s the type of trust I want to develop with my clients. π So, if you feel up to it, let’s go out for coffee or lunch/dinner! Even during COVID we can still enjoy each other! π
