I’ve shared this story before but it’s a story worth sharing again! 🙂 This Point Loma engagement portrait was unique because it was unique to the couple and their personality!
After talking to Judy about what Nicole and Marcus wanted, we decided to choose their favorite spot in San Diego! They wanted something laid back. Nicole and Marcus wanted photos that reflected their personality together – laidback, fun with a lot of laughter and smiles! Marcus is usually pretty stoic, but with Nicole, she really brings out the smiles in him! These two were sooo much fun!
Backstory…Â
Nicole’s mom – Judy – and I share a mutual friend – a very sweet friend, Jaime Wood. She has become more of a family to us. Even during COVID, we eventually broke the SAH because we needed each other’s company – safely, of course. But it was because of Jaime that Judy was able to find me!Â
Judy was in search of a photographer early last year. She didn’t quite know where to begin – because she didn’t want just any photographer. And just that time she was searching, she saw Jaime and Jeff’s photos online. And this is where the idea that all things work-out and fall-in-to-place so easily when things happen at the right time.
A little back story. After 6 years of coaxing, Jaime, Jeff and I finally set aside the time to do a portrait session. It was a very rare day because Jeff travels a lot! Somehow our schedules just worked! 🙂 Sooo I took off and had the most amazing time! But it was because of this session that Judy found me!
Good friends…
And from the first meeting, I felt like I found a friend! We shared a few meals together before the beautiful Point Loma Engagement Portrait session and the wedding and are still now talking! 🙂 It’s because of these people that I love what I do! :D! And so, without further ado, here are the photos!
This Point Loma engagement portrait was definitely one for the books :).
