As a San Diego family photographer, I’m less interested in perfect poses and more drawn to the in‑between: the way your son leans into you when he laughs, the way your daughter absentmindedly twists your hair, the way you and your partner share a look over the chaos. I photograph families the way I wish someone had photographed mine: with patience, curiosity, and a reverence for the ordinary. As a mother of three, I know how fast it all shifts—how baby curls straighten, how small hands grow, how one day you realize you can’t quite remember the weight of them on your hip.

The only memories I have of my twin sister are left in photos. So I understand how important photos truly are.
I'm an Enneagram 2 - helper & giver. I UNDERSTAND how STRESSFUL family sessions can be. I make sure all my family sessions are as easy and fun as possible.
Our kid won't stay small. Our memories are just so short (do you remember what you had for breakfast yesterday?). That's why photos are so important. They have the ability to bring back the joy and the fun - in those moments that we can barely remember.

General Questions people have!
Why do the packages cost so much?
What a question to answer right off the bat right? But this is the one place where I can share with you my world!
First of all, I don't just work with anyone. I work with people who believe in the power and importance of a professional photographer. My sessions are limited and so is my time. But most importantly being a photographer isn't only about standing behind a camera and clicking the shutter. It's an actual full fledged business that requires more than a camera to run. Here are some of the things that my earnings go towards are: 1-2 days time spent culling, editing the photos, continual education and personal growth, years of experience and time spent honing my craft, CRM, gallery & website hosting for my clients and future clients, gas to travel to point to point, gear repair, business license & insurance, social media applications and more. Another unforeseen cost is time away from family. These are just a few things that determine the cost of my sessions.
The most important thing is, for me, it's all about the relationship and a truly memorable experience. I have clients who trust me implicitly because they know I can handle children and they were able to experience my love for them and my passion to create heirloom, timeless memories that they can cherish in the years to come.
How do I reserve a session?

How to secure the date...
Because of how busy the fall season usually is, Full payment is required to secure the date. You can do this during Contract signing.
What if I have to reschedule?
Becauses spots are limited, a $300 rescheduling fee is required.
How many sessions do I take per season?
I only have about 10-15 spots available from October-November.
What day of the week are the sessions offered?
I prefer that our sessions be during the weekday. Weekends are reserved for weddings.
What time of the day are the sessions?
I shoot 1.5 hrs before sunset. The light during this time is the most beautiful.
How early should I arrive?
Please aim to arrive at least 15-30 min early. We will start promptly at the time specified.
How many photos do you give?
Depending on how many people and the amount of time we shoot, I output about 50-100 photos for a 1 hour session.
What makes the extended family collection different?
With the addition of time and people, each family pretty much gets their own personal gallery in addition to the large group photos
COLORS I LOVE!
Stripes, Patterns and Flowers
Use no more than two patterns together. And the two patterns should be similar and complimentary. For instance stripes and dots.
For guys, avoid patterns that are smaller than a dime! These small patterns can create strange visual effects in a digital camera.
What should I wear?

For the GIRLS:
I love the feminine look of a flowy and twirl-able dress!
For the GUYS:
Wear a suit or vest & Tie! Sweaters are nice! Think CHIC!
Think Neutrals, blush, tans, link pinks, faint blues and teals, creams, grays and whites. Choose 2/3 colors to use!
FASHION QUESTIONS!
Shoes completes the
outfit!
I know, it's one more thing to worry about, but if you look great above the feet and ignore the shoes, it doesn't quite work out!
Fabric texture makes a difference!
If you can, steer clear of sateen or fabrics that have a sheen to it. As beautiful as they are, they give off a reflecting light and you can't hide the wrinkles in the fabric easily!
Be comfortable comes first before looking good!
If you are having to fix your outfit ALOT, like putting straps away or fixing the way your dress falls, you'll be doing it during the whole session. Pick an outfit that looks great and is low-maintenance - no need to fuss!
